Good value
This is my second mattress and the reason has absolutely nothing to do with quality. It has to do with the fact that I have cats. This mattress holds up well as long as little claws are kept away from it (I now lay towels on the exposed areas when I sleep). It is easy to patch the pinholes from the claws unless the hole is on the corner where it’s difficult to secure and let dry. This is the only reason I had to replace the mattress.I will not hesitate to purchase another mattress, as it is a good value and quality.

Thicker than most.
Iâve had 4 waterbed mattresses since 1986. This one seems to be the thickest and best quality. Good quality liner included. I believe this one is the best Iâve purchased. Heater control is far easier than my old one.

Longtime waterbed user, loves waterbeds but never encountered high level VOC’s like this mattress.
The overall deal of the liner, waterbed mattress, fill kit, mattress pad and heater was a good deal. The shipment came fast. My concern was that the matress was not as thick as the one I replaced and ALSO and foremost….the strong, strong, STRONG odor of vinyl chloride radiating from the matress. I installed the mattress in Dec. of 2023 and it’s now Feb. 2nd of 2024. I have to say to be honest the odor is not as strong now as it was in early Jan. But its still strong to interupt your attempted sleep.I have not contacted the seller of this product as of yet in hope that the odor would weaken to the point of comfortable use. In retrospect the mattress should have been lift outside for a week to air out but in my case, I live in an apt, where was I going to leave it. I will have to buy new pillows because the strong odor has invaded my pillows. I have slept on a waterbed for over 30 years and have never encountered this situation of the overwhelming VOC’s I’ve encounted with this mattress. I gave this purchase, my first with Amazon 4 stars, in actuality 3.5 stars. I have not slept well or very long on the bed because the odor leaches through the mattress pad, sheets and 2 comforters. Here’s to hoping the end of Febuary will bring zero VOC’s ( Volatile Organic Compounds ). Nothing lasts forever.

Good value
This was a replacement for my father’s waterbed that he has had for 30+ years. I like how it came with a new liner and heater.

Restful sleep
The mattress package arrived sooner than expected. I made my own frame. I am VERY happy with the product, the mattress seems stronger than the one I bought in the ’70’s and the heater isn’t as rigid so I think it will be less apt to get broken internal wires.

Comfortable
The mattress was built well and everything was in the package with it.

Mattress and accessories are fine but plug pull was flimsy
Everything arrived in good condition but the pull on the plug broke quickly. All waterbeds develop air bubbles and you have to “burp” them. Therefore, you have to pull up the plug and allow the air out. The ring that allows you to get a grip on the plug just snapped off, leaving me no way to pull the plug out. I grabbed a pair of pliers and that’s how I’ve pulled it up since then but it’s a bit irritating.
