This mattress is replacing a 15+ year old traditional spring mattress with a pillow top. I was hesitant to order this at first. What if it’s too firm (or too soft)? What if it has a terrible chemical smell that foam mattresses often have? What if the quality is poor, or if there’s a defect that would require replacement? I imagine trying to process a return on an item like this would not be easy.Thankfully, this mattress was easy to set up, has NO ODOR WHATSOEVER, and has been quite comfortable in the two weeks or so that we’ve been using it. It’s fairly firm, but not punishing at all. We do have a separate foam topper that we used with our old mattress and continue to use with this one.Two aspects that we aren’t super excited about:1) We do hear some minor squeaking, though it’s possible it’s coming from our box spring. We didn’t notice it with the old mattress, so…not sure about that one.2) The much-touted motion isolation seems overblown to me. We actually both feel that the entire mattress bounces around a little more than or old one did, and that you can feel the other person’s movements on the opposite side of the bed.Despite these minor complaints, it is a comfortable and seemingly high-quality mattress that we have enjoyed so far. It was risky to buy before trying, but thankfully it has worked out for us. Hauling the 70-some pound package up the stairs to our bedroom was a small price to pay compared to the pain of going to mattress stores, arranging delivery, etc.4.5/5 stars. It may not be perfect (slight squeaking and the motion isolation is kinda meh), but it’s quite good, and much better than we expected for the price. I don’t think we’ll be mattress shopping in a store ever again.

That cooling layer on top isnât just marketing fluffâit actually helps. I run warm at night, and this thing keeps me from waking up sweaty and irritated. That egg crate layer they talked about? My hubby and I absolutely love this mattress. Weâre not really a fan of having springs in a mattress, but you donât feel them at all or hear them. We love the black sleek appearance and the quality is great. Looks like itâll last a long time. Itâs super comfortable, doesnât retain a lot of heat and was pretty easy to get out of the box and set up.

This mattress came bustinâ out the plastic like it had been locked up too longâno chill. Soon as we sliced the wrap, it puffed up fast and wild, like pop! So yeah, PSA to any couple setting it up: give it room unless yâall want a mattress to the face. But once it settled, we were both impressed. No weird smells, no waiting around – Thatâs the hybrid spring working with the foam, I think.Iâm a side sleeper, so pressure relief is everything. Woke up with no shoulder or hip aches, which is a first. And I toss a lotâmy partner didnât even feel me moving. That motion isolation claim? Real talk. We both stretched out like lazy cats the next morning.And donât get me started on the coverâitâs soft like pajama cotton but cool to the touch. Some mattresses hold heat like they mad at you; this one breathes. Even with a heavy blanket, I didnât sweat through it like usual.Iâve had fancy hotel beds do less for my back. This mattress is great value, especially when compared to most budget mattresses. I would say this is medium, it supports weight quite well when spread but does have a bit of bounce if you stand on it/concentrate all the weight in one area.The top layer is pretty comfortable and I happily slept on the bed all night, it isn’t quite up there with my well known brand mattress but it is very good for the price. Perfect for a spare bed or regular use for anyone 80kg or less. It supports me and my partner easily and there’s no roll together.The mattress package is 27Kg, not light but saying that, it’s not mega heavy. You can drag is about and is much easier to move when in its rolled up state than trying to move it when opened. Make sure you place it on the bed before cutting it free, you’ll thank yourself because it springs open quite ferociously.The quality is good, it looks very nice and I’m more than happy with it. 100% recommended and would buy another.

My previous mattress which I bought 7 years ago was about £350, but it wasn’t comfortable as it didn’t have a foam layer. This DAJIYUHC Double Mattress comes with pocket springs and a foam layer. I consider this as medium firm which I find very comfortable, as I have a small frame. Someone who is heavy and bulky might find it a little on a soft side due to their weight.

Double Mattress 4FT6, 10 Inch Foam and Spring Hybrid Mattress.Firstly, this arrives rolled up in an approximately 5-foot-tall box, Once taken out of the box and packaging it gets its shape very quickly, Tip: I would put this in the room you will be using it in before taking it out of its packaging.The mattress in general is on the firmer side of medium, it is very comfortable imo.We now have this in our spare room, It is an excellent mattress at this price point, I would happily recommend these mattresses for a guest room, where the users can be varied, not too hard, just firm and comfortable, it will suit most people.
