Toxic free quality and value
After upgrading my mattress to a toxic free latex mattress I went on a hunt to find a toxic free mattress protector that would still be waterproof since we still have little ones. Some of the ones I found were pretty pricey or not truly toxic free, this seemed to be a happy medium. Have yet to have experience a major spill/ accident but it seems like it would get the job done. It alsoIs comfortable, not too stiff and breathable.

First, and most importantly, I purchased the whisper organics brand because it is not padded for my high-end mattress set that I purchased at Harbor Springs mattress company. It was explained to me that padded protectors will change the feeling of the bed, which is stuffed with wool. I also wanted a quality protector that was breathable breathability preserves the mattress and enhances comfort; also regulates sleeping temperature.

Night sweats! Do not recommend for the price
I really wanted to like this since itâs organic cotton. However, I sweat every night when this is on the mattress. I know itâs waterproof but for the price I expected it to be better and more breathable than others. Youâre better off buying something cheaper. It fits my king mattress well, and it feels good quality, but it makes both me and my husband sweat nightly. When itâs not on the mattress we donât have that issue so we know itâs the product.

This mattress pad is high quality.The fabric feels very substantial and it has good seams, as I checked all the stitching.Obviously with any waterproof pad, there is going to be a little noise, but this one doesnât sound like a cat playing in plastic wrap, the way some do.It didnât smell at all coming out of the package and that is appreciated, even though Iâll wash it before putting it on the bed.It will go on my hubâs half of the split king because it has this great feature of kind of gel along the fitted seams. He is 300+ lbs and I think this will help hold it mattress cover in place.I will let you know about that and how it washes in an additional post.One star left off because I just havenât tested if for waterproof claim or the washing yet.
