Perfect for me…
I purchased this pad on Dec. 14th and here it is Jan 7th and I just took it out of it’s bag to make a decision to keep or return. When it first arrived I was disappointed that it had that processed feel that cotton seems to have anymore. That silky, slippery feeling that tells me it’s not cotton, not that it isn’t it just seems to be the way they process it anymore and I was wanting that old time cotton feel. I didn’t want fluffy or excess padding so this pad is just right for me. I washed it and put it in the drying hoping for a tight fit and I got that plus that slippery feel is gone. I am happy I didn’t return it now, So, for me it’s perfect. If you’re looking for fluffy etc. it may not be perfect for you. My mattress is 14″ Happy Me!

Nice quality. Fits well. Has what I would consider a medium thickness and is a good value in my opinion. After washing, I noticed an area that was absent of color, like I had poured bleach there. It looked like it was where I poured the regular laundry soap (All Free and Clear), so maybe use a more mild detergent when washing if you are concerned. It’s not something anyone will see, so it doesn’t bother me.

This fit queen size mattress with about 14″ thickness with plenty of room to fit perfectly. Better yet it did not come loose during the night with tossing and turning. It kept the mattress topper from moving & kept the bed in uniformity. I was hesitant on spending this much on a mattress protector but ordered it based on the reviews. I totally agree it was worth the money. Hopefully it will in the long term be durable. Based on other reviews of other mattress protectors with lots of bad reviews this one did not have any bad reviews. I haven’t tried to see if truly waterproof yet but pleased with the results of it staying in place so far.
