Good mattress
So far so good with this mattress. It seems to be well made. You would never know it came out of a box. It’s fairly firm too yet soft. I am using for my sons bunk bed and it fits great. He thinks it’s a little firm, but would be better for an adult.

Cooling mattress
This mattress is very comfortable and cooling. It’s fairly firm, but soft enough to be comfortable. It’s setup is as easy as literally opening the box/bag and allowing the mattress to expand.

Comfortable and easy to trans
I got this to put in my daughterâs room. She likes to feel of it and she likes the coolness of the gel. Itâs 8 inches so itâs not real thick, but it does the job for her. I think Iâll probably add a memory foam topper at some point.

True to it’s rating of firmness, a very comfortable mattress
I’ve purchased these ‘expanding’ (AKA; Bed-In-Box) memory foam and composite coil/foam mattresses since they ever been available, so I’ve got pretty realistic expectations.Opening and deploying (expanding) this mattress was pretty standard fare. I’ve learned to allow the full 24 hours for these types of mattresses to expand properly. It also makes a difference in the odor these foam types emit when they are new – It’s normal and not unusual – expect it.Hint for best results; Release the mattress from packaging & place on a flat surface for ~12 hours, then flip the mattress over & allow another 12 hours.The expansion is complete and most/all of the odor will be gone. This mattress in particular did not have much odor at all, which was nice for a change!Everything size-wise is correct for this mattress. It fits normal twin fitted sheets just fine…another welcome attribute!I use this mattress on my adjustable bed and right away the amount of flexibility was noticeably good. Some mattresses are stiff and the internal layers don’t allow for much flexation…this one is doing great in that department!As for comfort? The ‘medium’ rating feels true! When I lay on it, the upper layers are very conformal and the inner layers give the firmness that makes it just right. I own a 2″ mattress topper but did not require it on this mattress. It’s just fine right as it is made.Edge firmness is uniform as well in respect to the feel of the entire surface – I’m not falling out of the bed when I go to stand up due to a soft, soggy edge ðSo far I’m delighted with the way this thing feels. Fours nights into using it and nothing to complain about. When moving this mattress around, I noticed that it holds its shape and is not like handling a wet rag…it’s not overly weighted and fairly easy to manipulate.Since I replace my mattress every 16~24 months, I can appreciate the price point for this mattress. If you use and adjustable bed, you’ll appreciate this mattress a lot. It performs very well and doesn’t have ‘shape memory’As for longevity, only time will tell…I will certainly update my comments if there are any issues.For me, this is a win – just what I was looking for – Two thumbs up!

This mattress took about 24 hours to fully inflate. It is firm but comfortable. There wasn’t a strong chemical smell like some boxed mattresses have.

Nice Memory Foam Mattress!
I picked up this memory foam mattress as i have been looking to replace one of our beds. I typically had traditional mattresses, but in recent years I’ve moved towards using memory foam where possible. I tend to prefer a firm mattress, but this medium support works very well for me. It says that it’s cooling, but like others have mentioned, I tend to run warm, and whatever cooling effect it’s supposed to have wasn’t overly noticeable for me. None of those products generally help me stay cool anyway.The mattress came packaged in a very compact box for the size it expands to. It did take a good day to fully expand. The mattress itself is pretty straightforward. With it only being 8 inches thick, you’ll definitely want to consider the type of fitted sheets you put on itâit’s not very deep. This would definitely be advisable or work best for a kid’s bed due to its thickness. However, I didn’t find the thickness of the bed to be a barrier for use.Overall, I’m happy with the mattress itself. For a twin mattress, I do think compared to others it might be a bit more pricey. However, if the medium firmness and the cool gel features work for you, then this might be something to consider. Overall, I feel the quality is there.Pros:- Comfortable medium support that works well even for those who prefer firm mattresses- Compact packaging and easy setup- Good quality materialsCons:- Cooling effect wasn’t noticeable for me- Only 8 inches thick, which may require specific fitted sheets- A bit more expensive compared to other twin mattresses

EGOHOME 8 inch Twin Mattress – Great support. Quality mattress.
I live primarily in Montana, but spend a great deal of time with our oldest daughter in Washington state near Seattle as well. Almost to the point of being an absent roommate, kind of situation. I have been crashing with my granddaughter for the last few years, however, at eight years old she’s getting just a little big for that so we decided to get a mattress for grandma.This mattress is fantastic. So comfortable and supportive, I love sleeping on it. I followed the recommendation of one of the other reviewers for taking the mattress out and leaving an open air for 12 hours on one side, and then flipping it over and letting it spend 12 hours on that side airin. It really does make a difference, that was a great tip. The mattress did not have hardly any odor to it to begin with. Big plus. By the time it was laying out for 24 hours and with a flipping, there was no odor at all when I slept on it.The twin size sheets I got for it fit perfectly the size. It seems to be spot on. It seems like it will be durable, uncomfortable for years and years to come. I would be happy to recommend this to anyone who needs one. Five stars.
