Protected mattress through birth!
My wife went into labor a year and a half ago and that labor went very quickly….so quickly that she ended up giving birth on our bed in the presence of EMTs. We then went to the hospital where I stayed overnight with my wife and new baby girl. The next day, once things had clamed down, I went home to clean up before they came home. For those who have witnessed or gone through child birth, you know what a mess I arrived to. For those who haven’t, suffice to say there are many different types of fluids and a lot of them. Let’s just say I was fully expecting to be purchasing a new mattress. To my amazement, once I’d bagged our sheets and this mattress pad, our mattress was perfectly fine. I bought another one immediately and will continue to use this brand as long as it exists. I challenge anyone to put it through a more rigorous test and I’m positive it can stand up to some sweat or your child’s pee in the middle of the night. I could have posted a pic but it’s better for everyone if I don’t.

An absolute must buy for any mattress
Great product. We have them on multiple beds, multiple times for years. Terry cloth coating absorbs any liquids that may be spilled on them. Rubber backing is a bit thin but I have no soak throughs. For the longevity of the cover I HIGHLY suggest drying for as little time as possible on low. Preferably, dry it for maybe 20-30 minutes on low to remove most of the moisture. Then hang dry the sheet for a day or two. Over drying can ruin the rubber backing making the water proof qualities null and void.Also, make sure to place this at the bottom of your washer (if you have a vertical washer) and try to add some heavier or larger pieces of laundry to the load. It can get your washer off balance quickly with how much water it absorbs. This thing is basically 4 cotton bath towels with a rubber backing. Finally, the biggest downside. Because it is basically a cotton towel with a rubber backing it can cause you to get a bit hot in your sleep. I mainly only notice this during heatwaves where our AC struggles. In the winter its fantastic. I do still highly recommend this for every bed to protect your mattress.

The SafeRest Waterproof Twin Size Mattress Protector is everything I hoped for â quiet, comfortable, and most importantly, 100% waterproof. These are the best mattress protectors Iâve ever bought! They are quiet- not crinkly like some! You cannot tell thereâs one under your sheet. They wash like a dream. I feel each cover Iâve bought has saved me hundreds of dollars in mattress purchases. Iâve even bought the pillow covers to keep head/hair odors from being absorbed into expensive pillows. This mattress is very reasonable and Am surprised by the quality and, thickness, and comfort. Do not hesitate to purchase if you need to need to get a bedroom together Pdq. No delayed delivery. Also purchased a black bedframe at the same time. My husband is very comfortable in our sunroom.

Amazing mattress protector
Works as described. I was worried this would have a crunchy feeling to it, but it does not. I donât even notice it being on the bed. I have a pretty thick hybrid mattress that does not require box springs. The mattress protector has not popped off a corner. Sometimes I have fitted sheets that do that so it was a concern. This is well designed and exactly as described. I poured liquid on the bed and it didnât seem to reach the mattress.

I just bought this last night and itâs already done its job. As someone thatâs new to endometriosis, fibroids, and perimenopause, I really needed a mattress protector that could stand up to breakthrough bleeding.Nighttime is an actual nightmare. During that special time, I wear all the right protective gear to bed but itâs often never enough. I ruined my previous mattress protector by putting in the dryer with too much heat and it melted so I ordered this one urgently. The review that sold me was the guy whose wife delivered a baby and this protector saved the whole mattress. He was NOT LYING!! Iâve already had an accident, I removed my sheets and new mattress protection that Iâve had less than 12 hours and absolutely NO blood on the mattress.I canât recommend this enough. Iâll update my review if anything changes but so far itâs perfection.

I had initially bought a (not so cheap) mattress cover at Ikea for my 3-year-oldâs new bed, it was useless to say the least and ruined his brand new mattress. After doing lots of research so as to not waste my money again I decided on this mattress protector and am I ever glad I did. It is super soft and comfortable, easy to clean, and most importantly VERY reliable. One night we accidentally forgot to put a diaper on him and despite him usually waking up with a completely soaked diaper not a single drop went through the mattress protector. Will be purchasing the same product again for my 1-year-old when the time comes.
