If you sleep hot, you’ve found “the one” â¥ï¸
I have never been a hot sleeper, but I upgraded to a new king bed – with all new bedding … and was suddenly waking up every night – multiple times – feeling like I was a living heating pad. I would move, turn my pillow over, fall asleep for a while, wake back up feeling like a furnace – and do it all over again, all. night. long despite having my ac on and ceiling fan running – and was STILL SLEEPING HOT!I read reviews for SO MANY mattress pads (and sheets!) – and someone mentioned this one is cooling … I didn’t really believe it, but I was desperate and figured I could return it if it didn’t work!Y’ALL! It is TRUE!!! Since putting this on my bed I have not woken up overheated ONCE. Bonus: it fits my king bed nicely and doesn’t slide around. It is soft and quiet. I wouldn’t say the padding is fluffy, but it’s dense enough to help reduce the feeling of the gap in the middle (I have a split king). It also feels thick enough to protect the mattress if anything is spilled on it, which gives me peace of mind.So! If you want something that fits nicely, is made of natural fibers which breathe well while also protecting your mattress: BUY THIS ONE! It’s expensive, but it was worth every penny.

UPDATE:The seller reached out to me, suspecting the mattress pad I received was defective, and provided a replacement. To be extra safe, I washed the new one in cold water and dried on ultra low. The new mattress pad fits properly (just a little short of being edge-to-edge across the middle of the mattress) and the filling has remained soft.I suppose now I can’t be sure if I actually received a defective product originally, or if I just needed to use even gentler laundry settings. But in any case, I appreciate the customer service.ORIGINAL REVIEW:After a single wash (warm water, tumble dry low with dryer balls) the filling has formed small hard lumps that are visible through a fitted sheet. The padded area is also 1 or 2 inches short on every side.I have a 95% cotton mattress pad that is 1/4 the price of this one. It has shrunken more (enough to become difficult to put on the mattress) but doesn’t have the hard lumps. So I don’t think this mattress pad is 4x better to justify the price, unless you really need 100% cotton.

This is a very high quality product. It’s very soft and well made. Washes well. It’s not meant to be waterproof, so it’s not like those covers that are crinkly and make you hot and sweaty. I’m always hot at night and this is the coolest bed product I’ve slept on. The cotton breathes yet still protects the matress. We got a brand new very soft (too soft) foam mattress. The cover makes it not quite as squishy so it’s easier to move around in the bed with the cover on it. The only issue I have is that the cover gets bunched up and has to be washed or retucked to get rid of the bumfles (Scottish word – but apt for this usage). I think this is because of the foam mattress not having well defined edges. I talked to product support and they were very helpful and suggested I wash it since it is designed to shrink. It did shrink and washed well and it was better after being shrunk. I think this cover would be better on a regular mattress. I’m pleased with it overall and I’m glad I bought it. It was more expensive than some alternatives, but it is a superior quality product and worth the price.

This mattress protector is of amazing quality, a nice quilted top and good fitted sides, for a deep mattress. I got the full size for my double bed and it is 100% perfect fit. I highly recommend this to anybody who’s looking for a mattress protector and doesn’t want the waterproof kind. I would definitely buy it again, if I ever needed another one, but I doubt I ever will, because the quality on this is so good.I washed it and dried it when I got it and had no shrinkage issues or any other issues, it came out of the dryer in perfect condition. Just put it on my new organic mattress, that got setup today.

The quality is excellent but the sizing did not work for me. I have a brand new twin xl mattress, 38 1/2 x 80 x 13. This xl cover was too long, but I ordered it in twin and it fit perfectly. Itâs beautiful quality
