What I was looking for was something that kept my fitted sheet in place since my mattress top is very slippery. That di the trick. No more bunched sheets the organic cotton top is extremely tightly woven and crisp. Love it.

No longer sleep deprived and I can breathe………
This product literally changed my life. I was seriously sleep deprived due to a confirmed dust allergy. My allergist told me that dust mites and anything synthetic (which traps them) were contributed to my nighttime congestion. Some nights I was so congested that I managed barely an hour’s sleep without waking up gasping for breath. I’m very health conscious so I refused to take medication for the congestion. I initially relied on Breathe Blend Essential Oils and changing all my pillowcases to the allergy relief ones. I also started washing my bedding in natural allergy laundry wash and spraying my bed with an essential oil dust mite spray and allowing to dry. I got some relief but not much. With further research I discovered that my mattress cover which I bought from tempurpedic might have been the problem. It was synthetic with a plastic backing and apparently a haven for dust mites and other chemicals that are released on a nightly basis. So I purchased this mattress cover and threw out the old. From the very first night I’ve slept soundly. I still have some nights that I need the added benefit for the Essential Oils but that’s only about once every two weeks. My whole life has changed. I sleep soundly, I wake up and bounce out of bed every morning!

NOT waterproof.
Donât believe itâs waterproof, because itâs absolutely NOT waterproof. I leant it after the first time my toddler had a wet night in her bed with a new mattress that was also WET.I think the seller just made a false statement about this feature to promote the sales.The pad itself is great, silky soft cotton upper, the right size.I donât want to return, need to double cover the mattress with something really waterproof.
