What I was looking for!
Unlike many of the reviews on this mattress, I am not paid nor was I given a free item to test. I bought this mattress on prime day and was looking for an organic, safe, breathable, and high quality baby mattress at an affordable price. The only box this mattress didnât tick was being made in USA(sadly itâs made in China). However, it had no strong smell when I opened it and seems breathable. It is firm but feels very comfortable when I push gently down on it.It fits perfectly in my crib and although it is thin my standard crib mattress cover fit perfectly.Iâm very happy with its quality and overall design.

Nice cover
The only reason I kept this mattress was because of the cover. It is so soft and quilted and cushiony. I hate what is inside of it though. Itâs that âdried spaghettiâ looking plastic that has become popular for baby mattresses recently. It has a smell to it even though I washed it. The cover doesnât smell after I washed it. Itâs the plastic inside. I wrapped it with a mattress pad. I am going to find something else to put inside of it like a baby foam mattress because I love the cover so much. It would be a perfect mattress if they came up with a better filling. I hope they do.

I love this crib mattress. Itâs thin in comparison to a standard crib mattress but it has zero plastic and my daughter loves it. Also smelled just fine straight out of the package no weird smells. The outer layer is a very comfortable soft fabric. This is a great value for the money.

We got our mattress! It did come with a little smell it is in the wash now but seems comfy for my 17 month old. Using in his toddler bed, I think it will be perfect.

From a product perspective, my wife and I both really like it. It is a crib mattress that is on the firmer side; yet, it has enough of a give to provide both comfort and support to the baby. For those who plan on having the baby stay in the crib for longer, the thin nature of this mattress should also come in handy, as it will make it more difficult for the baby to climb out of the crib and injure him/herself.The material quality seems to be as good as the product advertises it to be. It is soft cotton, with small holes for breathability. The cover is also removable and washable; though we did put another thin mattress protector (also organic material) over it, as we found it to be too much of a hassle to try and remove for washing. Overall, we were very impressed with the overall quality of the materials used.Our son also seems to be enjoying sleeping on it. He is only 5 months old, and given how thin this mattress is, we actually have a second mattress under this to help raise it (more for us in terms of being more convenient to lay him down for sleep). Even when we switched over to this for the first time, he had no trouble falling asleep on it, and he has been sleeping well since then, until maybe very recently when we feel like he has maybe started teething.The reason why this review is just 4 stars though is that the price point just seems very high. I get that the material quality is awesome, but I am just not sure it merits the entirety of that expensive price tag, especially for a crib mattress that you might not be using for very long (for instance, we only plan on using the crib for the first 6-9 months or so and switch over when our son starts to be able to stand with support). If you are planning on using the crib for awhile and want a premium option, this should definitely be in consideration; otherwise, I do think the price probably puts it outside the budget of a lot of people.
