my wife’s bed in the philipines is hard foam for me, i bought this bamboo mattress protector which makes the bed softer and more comfortable. Worth every penny!

Fits perfectly with large, fitted sheet style so it will not move around while sleeping. Very comfortable without being too soft. I love this topper, and I will be more one for each bed in the household.

Nice but not cooling.
Some people in reviews said that it’s not as thick as advertised but that was fine with me as I have a Talalay latex foam 2″ convoluted bed topper underneath the bamboo mattress cover then another spill proof mattress cover under that to cover a firm mattress. So three layers thick of coverings on top of the mattress. More thickness of this bamboo topper would of made the bed too soft. The bumps of the Talalay bed topper need a bed mattress cover over it so as not to feel the bumps and foam.This will work for the winter months. I have a thinner cotton mattress cover that is cooler than this bamboo one is and I will change back to it in the spring. Maybe the bamboo fabric is cooler and I have felt that effect with bamboo lounge clothes, but I feel some heat buildup underneath me, more than my thinner cotton mattress pad, so the stuffing and/or fabric blend could make a difference too. I use Supema long thread cotton percale sheets and flax summer blankets for there low thread count and there ability to let the heat escape and not build up. We have up to 3 flax summer blankets that we can stack for winter and then remove them except for one of them as summer nears, although two blankets is usually enough for winter, we are not in snow country. Best setup for a bed I have ever had and I have tried them all.This fits a king bed and is not cut short.

Just enough padding
This is not a thick pad as many reviewers have commented on. So I was surprised at the difference it made in my sleep comfort on a firm mattress. This is very soft and just enough padding if you’re not a fan of sinking into foam toppers. I can’t comment on the cooling effect as it’s winter and we’re using a heated blanket almost every night.

Cooling yes, comfort eh
The cooling aspect is AMAZING, but the comfort is only okay. It does not have much cushioning, and it is a lumpy depending on where the inserts gather. I kept it because it was worth how cool it kept us.

Let me start off with saying I was very close to just buying a new mattress. Instead of jumping to it, I did some research and ordered this topper and it has been great so far!Before this I was waking up with pain in my back in neck every morning. I did get new pillows so I canât continue the entire change up to this topper, but I do believe this has helped a lot.It is overall very plush. I find this better than the plush mattresses Iâve slept on before, but also better than my current firm mattress.If you are looking for a soft, plush mattress topper this is your go to. I would not say it keeps me warm or cooled down. It doesnât make me as hot as other toppers, but it also doesnât cool me down so if youâre looking for a cooling topper this is not it. Overall I would purchase again!

Did everything they said to fluff it up and… meh
If I could possibly fit this thing back in the box, then I would send it back. 3″… yeah right! My person, you can almost see through it when you hold it up to a window. Just go to some local chain store and buy something off the shelf. I bought this to replace a bamboo topper that I’ve had for 4 years. The 4 year old topper beats this thing in every single way!
