The Brooklyn Bedding Aloe Alexis Latex Mattress is a 14 inch latex mattress with 6 inches of latex. The Aloe Alexis is available in multiple comfort levels on our 1-10 comfort scale. Our custom comfort scale allows your new bed to be built to your specifications. The Aloe Alexis starts with a high density base foam core for unbeatable support under the latex. Inside the zipper top above the base foam is 2 3 inch layers of Talalay latex. The Talalay latex comes in different densities to customize the support and comfort of your bed. We will layer the latex in the bed with two different densities in order to give your mattress two distinct comfort levels within the same bed. For an example if you ordered our level 6 (most popular) it would come with a layer of level 6 latex and level 5. If you thought the level 6 was too soft the mattress can be made firmer by rotating the layers and putting the level 5 on top. We also can give you the option of exchanging out the latex layers once the bed is in your home in order to get the comfort level perfect for you. Above our latex layer is our layer of wool and Aloe Vera cover. These two materials allow for a cooler sleep and better Temperature regulation.
