To begin, I did what I would consider a lot of research before finally purchasing this bed. Many reviews on here have worse health issues than me that make it hard for them to sleep at night. My situation is that my wife is pregnant with our first and was having a difficult time getting a good nights rest.This review will be based on packaging, installation and first few nights sleeping.Packaging :I personally though it was package great. No room for moisture to get in and keeping everything sealed the way it’s suppose to be. The box may have been scuffed a little but hey, your buying a mattress not a box. It was light enough to move around but I didn’t have to climb 10 flights of stairs either. The bed was wrapped in god, I want to say 2 things of thick plastic in which had the air sucked out.Installing:Once out of the box, unroll that sucker right where you plan to sleep. When you unroll it, the bottom of the bed will face up. Flip it upside down (so now it’s right side up) and carefully cut the edge to activate THE INFLATION PROCESS. I swear to you, it inflated in probably less than 1 minute. All corners measured to the size I ordered and even through the middle sections. Now this is where I had to find out what this UNBELIEVABLE SMELL was that others spoke of. After it inflated I stuck my nose to it, There IS a smell ok, lets just get that out of the way now. I can tell you it is NOT AS BAD as people made it out to be. Up close you can smell it, a few steps back not so much but still there. To me and i’ll be honest with you, it smelt like a painted room. I stuck a fan on it for 1 or 2 days no windows open BTW and it went away.Now you’re probably wondering where the smell came from. I researched that and found that there are chemicals or materials used to be flame retardant.I did give it 36 or so hours to fully expand and then we decided to sleep on it which brings me to my next bullet.First Few Nights Sleeping:First night was unreal, in a good way. Sleeping through the night without being woken by my wife moving and shifting. If you’re wondering, yes she has slept better not being woken up as much either. Did not wake up with back pains. I am able to come into bed after my wife falls asleep and not have her wake up by the annoying sounds a STUPID SPRINGS.Yes i would recommend this bed to someone BUT since we are new to memory foam beds or this one anyways I cannot tell you how long it will last. What I will tell you because we were told this and it made sense. We bought this as a packaged deal including a black metal frame and since that bed frame has thin bars to support the bed then try this.We cut down the box the bed came in into 2 large pieces to place between the frame and the bed to help support the bed better. Remember, it is memory foam and will conform to these bars on the frame but the cardboard helps prevent this so no bar lines will form under the bed. Make sense?Also, get yourself a mattress protector for the foam for additional protection.I hope this has helped you and yes, I do get this is a long review but to me its better than having questions and all you see for a review is (its awesome, great bed, LOVE IT) and so on. Anyways, I will update maybe 6 months or 1 year from now and see where things are.Later……..

I will start with I am very happy with my purchase of this mattress! My husband and I had been talking about a new, larger king size mattress for well over a year. After some research and price watching at the local mattress stores we just couldn’t bring ourselves to spend upwards of several thousand for the mattress/boxspring/frame/new bedding/etc no matter the “fabulous” financing options; just seemed silly. After learning how severely the stores markup mattresses and how you can haggle the price down, I was even more turned off by the thought of going to the store so as any good Prime member, we turned to Amazon!Back to this mattress. I will say we were a little hesitant about buying a mattress online without getting the chance to lay on it, however we have managed to make it to our mid 30’s without ever personally picking out a mattress of our own. The reviews, ratings and questions were extremely helpful in making our decision.The mattress arrived yesterday, as had all the other pieces part of our upgrade. It came tightly rolled, vacuum sealed in a large box that was not as heavy as I was expecting. The package was easy to open and the mattress unrolled and started to take its form immediately. As others have noted, it does have a bit of a smell to it but nothing crazy; similar to the memory foam topper we currently had when it was new. Needless to say, we opened it about 6 hours before we went to bed and slept on it the night it arrived.Overall, I slept great. I have EDS/Joint Hypermobility and am in general discomfort most of the time; sleeping is no exception. My husband and I both found it to be very comfortable and while I’m no mattress connoisseur I think many people have described it well; it is firm but when you lay down on it is cushy and supportive where you need it. I move around a lot when I sleep and tend to be more of a side and stomach sleeper but was comfortable on my back as well which was nice. I also have issues where my hands, arms, shoulders and sometimes legs fall asleep on their own and that didn’t happen last night while it had all this week. This morning I woke up in much more comfort than normal and a lot of the places that normally are stiff and sore were not and just felt like they were relaxed.Overall, great first impressions and I’m hopeful this will continue to be the case! As some have asked, it does come with a 25 year warranty; 10 years full warranty and 15 prorated so that is nice piece of mind as well if you’re unsure.
