I thought it would be ok , I could have spent another 30$ and drove 15 min to get a 60% wave less mattress, (which is what I had b4 this one) the price looks ok on this one till you rack up the shipping. This âsemiâ wave less is pretty much a water balloon. Iâve been on a waterbed since the early 80s and know everything there is to know about them . If you donât mind moving around for a few seconds this might be ok for you , but once you get a 60% or above you donât want to go back to a plain non fiber fill one , and yes I know there is some in this one , it could be better . But now I have ten plus years (if quality holds up) sloshing around on this thing . And be careful screwing on the attachment to the mattress, this is the first time ever I had one strip the threads on me , not cool ! The vinyl piece that goes over the filler hole , will not stay attached no matter what you do , itâs a tiny little plastic piece that gets lost instantly ! I should have stuck with what I knew and got the same as I did last time . Hope that helped

No idea about durability yet. It’s good. I paid less, so I got the lesser waveless technology. That said it’s pretty comfortable; just a little more motion than I am used to (have had waterbeds for forty years).

My son and I built a water bed for his room. Great project. All the materials for the frame and headboard were from the local hardware store. Mattress works perfectly, easy to fill, all the right accessories. Was a little worried that semi-waveless would have too much motion… not a bit. Makes a good wave when you move but stops quickly.

I would have preferred a more motionless model but size was perfect and setup was really easy.
