Great transition bed

I Would Give 10âï¸
Purchased this for when grandkiddles come to spend the night. (Instead of the inflatable air mattress ð¤¦ââï¸)This looked like NOTHING when I unpacked it BUT it said wait 48 hours, we’ll within 10 hours it was AMAZING (see my pics). PLUS it comes with sturdy clip straps to roll it up AND a zipped cloth bag for storage.

So thick and soft!
This is the second mattress I have tried. The first one was just too thin. I put this on my bed frame and then covered it with a thick egg crate. Wow, it is super comfy and I am just using it as a regular mattress!! My husband and I decided that conventional mattresses aren’t really the way we want to go because they are full of flame retardants that are actually chemicals, yuck!!I just make up my bed as usual and I am super comfortable. I do have to put a pillow under my back side to protect my tail bone when I am sitting on the bed because the mattress isn’t as thick as a conventional mattress.My husband and I sleep in separate rooms because he says I toss and turn too much so he is using the same mattress pad to sleep with on the floor with no egg crate and he is very happy. But he does like a firmer surface to sleep on than most folks probably prefer.This mattress pad is def. worth giving a try!!

Not as advertised
There are a few things off with this product. The photo advertises a dust proof cover and another photo of what looks like a bag for storage. Not sure if itâs the same thing or two different things. I had reordered after discussing with an Amazon rep if there was supposed to be another item with the box.The box ships with a label âDo not separate, this is a setâ yet both times we only got 1 box and no bag for travel/transportation. Secondly this futon does not expand to 4 inches after waiting a week. Itâs more like 2 inches at max.Will be returning these for another option.

Not good
I should have known this would be bad but being a veteran, I trusted the military guy and his bogus review. Definitely got my hopes up. The Only way we got any sleep at all while camping was to fold it in half. Yes, me and my 5yr old slept on half a full size together. Annoying!! It was comfortable when we were at home just doing yoga stuff or lounging but this mat alone is absolutely Not suitable for sleep by itself. I can completely feel the ground unless I am completely flat like floating on water, any shift and sink! I now have to buy an inflatable for underneath and it’s another $50. I tent camping because I want to be frugal, environmental and not have a million things to bring. The straps are crap, I had to put knots in them so they stay. The thing is super bulky and doesn’t store easily, I guess another $20 for a lidded tote to put it in that then won’t fit in my car? Arrived 4 days late. Overall, not an awesome buy. Probably don’t buy this unless your intention for it is like a playhouse mat or something like that not requiring actual support.

A moving life saver!
Imagine this: night 1 of a military move. You have just packed up all of your household goods. Youâve spent the day cleaning and chasing after kids in a virtually empty house. Youâre ready to go to sleep so you air up your cute little camping mattress and go to sleep⦠only to wake up 3 hours later in the floor and your toddler sleeping on your pillow. My husband was so over it, he researched Japanese floor mattresses and found this one. I kid you not, we slept like babies the first night on this. Could it have been because we were exhausted from moving? Totally. But, we slept on it for 4 more nights, including opting to sleep on it at a friends house instead of her guest bed bc it was more comfortable. This was easily worth the money and we literally never use an air mattress again! Cannot recommend this product enough! ESPECIALLY if you move often like we do and need something comfortable but also something that is easy to move and take with you. We rolled the mattress up and put it in the trunk of my VW atlas behind the third row.
