Noticeably Smaller Than They Used To Be
I slept on these for about three years in my 20s. Bought the first when I needed a bed in 2015 but was about to move across the country, so wanted something small enough to pack up and take with me. This was the perfect solution and was remarkably comfortable.Back then, if you put blankets and such on it, you could not tell it wasn’t a twin bed. I ended up buying a second one in 2017 (when the first inevitably split on the inside from over-filling and caused a bubble that it was impossible to sleep on top of – my friend’s did the same thing) and that one served me well for years, too. It really was as comfy as a regular mattress if not over or under inflated.Well now I’m married and have a real bed, but went to stay with my dad recently. Ordered this classic standby and it served me well but was so much smaller and shorter. It was like they took the dimensions all around and shrank it, by at least 6 inches on every side (length, width, and height). It was still comfortable, but disappointing that it was lower to the ground, too. I can’t measure it now, because I left it with my brother rather than trying to fly back with it, but it definitely appears more kid-size now.I’m 5’5″ and it fit me just fine, but the older model would have fit my tall friends whereas with this one I would not try. I still give it 5 stars and recommend it, though.PS – With any vinyl furniture like this, expect it to sag a little a few hours after you first blow it up (whether it’s the very first or twentieth time). It’s because vinyl stretches. Just add more air and you’ll be fine. It’s not a leak.

    Wow! What a steal!
I bought this to replace my old regular mattress so I needed something that would both provide comfort and would hold up to daily use. I got it when it was on sale and paid around $32 including the insurance I flipped for. I’ve paid a LOT more for other mattresses over the years and haven’t been as satisfied. I wasn’t sure of the surface design as I usually go more for a gusseted style like a standard plush mattress, but it was fine. I use a sleeping bag and thin comforter under as a makeshift mattress pad for extra comfort. Keep in mind, air mattresses hold the cold air so while it’s great for people who like to keep cool, it’s not so much for those using it in the cold or winter and tend to be more on the chilly side. With most air mattresses you have to put air every day or every couple days. This one truly holds is air! Make sure you follow the instructions the first time and let it rest and stretch. After that you’ll be good to go! Seriously, you can go a week without any air loss! I loved it so much I bought a twin version for my daughter for when she visits. She didn’t have all the padding and still found it comfortable. I tried it with a foam mattress pad and it definitely holds solid like a regular mattress, I just got a cheaper pad and couldn’t deal with the odor so ditched it and used the blankets instead. My only gripe is how low it is. It’s not on the floor, more like a “medium” height in air mattress height designs. It has two “humps” and I would have had a much easier time with 3 or extra raised. The pillow feature is a nice touch to help keep pillows from sliding off or if you want to lay the opposite and prop your feet up with a small pillow vs a couple. I’m limited space and in my room a lot since I’m staying with family so I like that since I don’t have a couch in my room and don’t have the best vision for distance to sit longways and watch tv that I can reposition it sideways against the wall rather than head against the wall and feet facing the tv to save space then reposition it to go longways at night. It’s not the easiest to move around and most people wouldn’t bother, but for me, it’s just more comfortable that way with my layout. Most people would much rather have a “real” mattress for the long haul, (myself included), but if it’s not in the budget or you’re “between mattresses” this is a great option.

Like all mattresses keep TACK NEEDLES AND SHARP OBJECTS AWAY
I love this because the other mattress I bought felt like you’d fall off the side this one supports you in the edge of the bed

Solid twin mattress, if only it was quieter…
The mattress is quite comfortable to sleep on, had no issues with leaking and the built in self-inflating pump is surprisingly quiet and fills up the mattress easily. I would give this mattress 5 stars if it wasn’t for one critical flaw which is the mattress is VERY loud! If you are using this mattress in a room with someone else, unless they are a very heavy sleeper, you will wake them up every time you shift on the bed. The slightest adjustment of your arm or leg will make a ton of squeaking and if you decide to turn over, the room will reverberate with the sounds of the adjustment (and I’m not a particularly heavy person at 6′, 165 lb).I do not know why it is so loud, but I took out my phone to empirically test how loud it was. Talking aloud in the room like I would on the phone was around 50-60 dB. Lifting my leg while seat on the bed caused squeaking around 50 dB. Turning over on the bed caused squeaking around 55 dB! So every time I moved at night was like a large mouse suddenly speaking up in the dead silence of the room! I wish I could give this mattress a better rating but it’s been much too disruptive to my roommate. If you are the only one in the room, then this would be great, otherwise no.Update: found the issue. The plastic of the bed is very squeaky if it runs against any surface, including the wall and the floor. Yes the floor. If you don’t have carpeted floors you need to put a blanket under the bed to keep it from squeaking while your on it, no joke. Updating to 4* as otherwise it’s a very comfortable bed

Really had me surprised, I’ve heard of many bad reviews from fellow friends about air mattresses in general. However, this air mattress has turned all my doubts around. AMAZING product. Had no issues on pumping the bed up. Very quick and and easy. Came in January 20th 2020, used it ever since then once in awhile. It is now the end of May (more 4 months) and nothing is wrong with the bed. Inflated and deflated the bed about 10 times now and it still retains its original quality/shape. Left the air mattress inflated for 2 weeks unused and the bed was still well inflated, firm and comfy afterwards. Would definitely recommend this product to others. Am willing to get another one.

This is the BEST Air Mattress ever!It comes with a built-in electric pump, just plug in the Bed, from the center position on the end of the Bed slide the Button up and it automatically blows itself up in only 2 minutes. Slide the Button to the down position and it deflates itself just as quickly, as now the high volume motor is blowing all the air out. It’s nice and high, about 16″, so it doesn’t feel like a “pool mattress” where you’re lying just inches off the floor. Although it does tell you that the first 1 or 2 nights it will loose maybe 5% of the air, making you think that it’s leaking, in fact as they say that’s just the rubber stretching, and after a few nights that never happened again. It stays really firm, with baffles for support. It does have a rather flat top with a nice swede-type finish, but I am glad that I also bought a “mattress cover” just like I would for a real Bed. That helps not to be able to feel through reg/ thin sheets, so that you can forget you’re not sleeping on a reg Bed. For the next step, I’d like to buy a 3″ “foam topper” or a “feather bed topper” to make it even more soft and luxurious. Everything you do with your regular Bed to make it more comfortable I’m doing with this Mattress, and although it’s already 16″ high, if it were up on a little higher frame I bet that people wouldn’t even know that they are sleeping on an inflatable.Although it comes with a Bag to put it in to store away, which is about the size of a 4 Slice Toaster, I’m going to leave it set-up most of the time.A++, an excellent product!!.

I bought this mattress after I saw the good reviews and the rating on Amazon but I’m disappointed… after using it for 2 months it’s now useless!
