Great product for a decent price
The higher end item touts the fully organic label. This is every bit the bed that one is with all the same promises of hypoallergenic, durability, etc…we bought this for our new baby and she sleeps great on it. We are pleased with it and will be able to use it for a long time as the bed is reversable for when she gets a little bigger (reverse side is a little softer). The price was better than getting a mattress from the local stores like Babies R Us. Whatever you do, do not get a spring mattress for your child. Get something like this one if you don’t choose this exact model.

but was so glad to find this lullaby mattress instead
This is made by the same company that sell the famous naturepedic mattresses. I strongly considered getting the naturepedic one, but was so glad to find this lullaby mattress instead! It’s just as good and aprox. $100 cheaper. The only difference is that the Lullaby mattress has one layer of organic cotton less. But you don’t even notice it when using it. Especially as I have an American Baby organic waterproof pad and Burts Bees organic sheets on top. My daughter is sleeping on it now and I’m recommending this mattress to all of my friends. It’s nice and firm and very we’ll made. Love how lightweight it is! Makes sheets changes much, much easier.

Poor quality- indented in the middle
Very disappointed in the qualityâ¦we have not had this mattress long and it already has an indent in the middle where my daughter likes to sleep. Poor quality for the price. Will not purchase fromThis brand again.

The perfect crib mattress
After learning of the chemicals that can be added to baby mattresses (flame retardants, etc.), we did a great amount of research to find something we felt comfortable letting our son spend 1/4 of his life on. Truly organic mattresses can really put a dent in the bank account. We found the Lullaby Earth to be a happy medium and we feel fully comfortable with it. Our son sleeps great on it. It’s very lightweight making sheet changes a breeze. It doesn’t have a smell at all (like I’ve read several other new mattresses can). It’s a tad more expensive than your typical crib mattress, but well worth the investment.

Good for toddlers, but infants might roll!
This is perfect for toddlers, but not for infants, they will roll to the corners, though the mattress is really hard, actually hard even on the side for the toddlers. The corners are kind of rounded and this is the thing I do not like in this mattress, else it worked for us ( toddler). Easy to clean, wet wipeS will do the work and no kind of smell after!! Also when it arrived, it has a kind of cotton smell, but it passed away after a week. Just remember you will need a mattress pad too, cause it is kind of noisy when the kid moves, first it seems too annoying, then you are getting used to it, like in our case, but noiseless mattress pad will be perfect, even the thin one. It is not hot in our case and I do not notice my son is sweating a lot , even here in California! Just one advice, if you can pay more, go to naturapedic original mattress, it is definitely better.

Fits perfectly into our IKEA Sniglar crib
I searched for a crib and a mattress with no chemical emissions, glues, pressed particle boards, paint, etc. for my son. Everyone seemed to report teeth marks from where their babies had gnawed so I wanted to steer clear of anything that could harm him. I bought an unfinished crib and crossed my fingers that this mattress would work. It fits perfectly snug, no room for anything to get stuck between. The fitted sheet even gets pushed up a little (but I can easily tuck it back down) when I place the mattress in the crib. Perfect. I am very happy with this purchase.

I was looking for an all natural chemical free mattress for my baby. This was definitely a great choice. Firm on one side for infants and other side is a little softer for a toddler. No chemical smell what so ever when unwrapped. Very lightweight for easy handling. The mattress also fit perfect in my Babi Italia Asheville crib that I purchase at Baby R Us. Great price for my peace of mind knowing my little one wont be exposed to toxins. I would definitely recommend this product if your looking for a non-toxic mattress ~ Thank you Lullaby Earth

Good mattress at first.. but indented after 5 months
Before purchasing a crib mattress, I did extensive research on the materials being used, as that is very important to me. I decided to go with Lullaby Earth after researching for weeks because it was the best option I found. When it arrived in the mail, I was happy that there was no chemical smell or off-gassing odor. I didn’t feel it was necessary to set it outside or anything. It fits perfectly in the crib, had no problems there. But now that my daughter is 5 months old, there is a noticeable indent where she sleeps. She only sleeps on it during nap time since she sleeps in our room at night and hasn’t even slept on it for more than 2 hours at a time. I’m concerned about the safety of this product as a firm sleeping surface is so important for SIDS prevention (especially for my daughter who is now a tummy sleeper). I imagined for the price/quality of this mattress, I could use it for a second child as well. Not sure if I received a defective one? But I noticed a previous reviewer with the same concern.
