SHOOK at the price + comfort level
Being on a tight budget is really stressful when you are looking for a new mattress; Especially when you need one that can perform without a boxspring due to the height and thickness. I have to say this mattress exceeded my expectations by a long shot. I am a side sleeper, who also alternates being on my stomach sometimes, and this mattress leaves me pain-free when I wake up in the morning – no more lower back pain, and I literally never want to get out of bed in the mornings bc it’s so comfy. I am usually a very plush mattress type of girl, and I feel like this is super soft But also supports your body in a way that prevents Pain from malposition while sleeping. It didn’t even take 12 hours to fully fluff up, which was great for me because I needed it to be ready pretty quickly. Overall, I would say this mattress is a huge win and I would definitely purchase this again when it is time to get a new one. SO GLAD I didn’t spend more money on something name brand. Worth it.
I was a bit skeptical of an item with (at the time of purchase) almost 200 reviews and a perfect 5.0 rating. It seemed suspicious. But getting and using the mattress proves it deserves that score. Only two issues, and one is a nitpick I’d never take a star off for, and the other is Amazon’s fault, and I don’t want to punish the vendor for an Amazon policy. The nitpick is that NOWHERE in the packaging does it tell you how long you need to let the mattress expand before use. In the instructions there’s a little photo of a clock and no time shown. Hidden away on their website (and its not easy to find) there was a statement that all of their memory foam (non Hybrid) mattresses need at least 12 hours before use. If I hadn’t eventually found that I’d have had no clue. The other issue, that’s Amazon’s fault, is how they now consider an overnight price change (after ordering) a “price match” (akin to a price from another retailer) and won’t give you the difference back (like any credible brick and mortar store will). Right after I bought it the price went down considerably, and not via a coupon or other manufacturer discount, and Amazon made the ridiculous suggestion I could return it (as if an expanded mattress in a box can be put back into the box) and rebuy it at the cheaper price. Again… not the manufacturers fault that Amazon chose to be ridiculous.I’ve seen one person in a new review since the perfect 5.0 when I bought give it 1 star as “too soft”. Another gave it 4 as ” too hard”. That’s all personal taste. I found it soft on the surface with a nice firm push underneath. You can hear a compression on the edge if you out your full weight on one spot, then it snaps back. They recommend rotating every few months and I plan to do that (alternating flipping and rotating). I’ll post back if my opinion changes.
