The VERY FIRM mattress of my dreams, and many trials!
Finally, a mattress that lives up to itâs FIRM description! Iâve tried so many mattresses and was almost ready to splurge on an expensive natural version, but decided to give this one a shot after reading thru the multiple comments that it was indeed firm-very firm. Time will tell if any dipping or hollowing happens. While Iâm an average size 5â4â, weight 145, and generally a side-sleeper (most recommend medium comfort level vs firm for this), I prefer to sleep ON TOP of the mattress and not having to lift myself out of a foam-conforming ditch as Iâm moving around at night. As a 50-ish yr old woman, this is not a hot-sleeping mattress and has a bit of spring when getting up at night, although I would prefer the sides to stay a bit more rigid when sitting on them. I am likely to add a natural latex topper (firm) just to bring it up the 3â needed to match the height of our other side of the King bed and provide the tiniest amount of comfort to make this perfect for my needs. (Hubby is less picky and likes to sink in his side of the mattress. He is confounded by the number the mattresses weâve gone through because nothing felt right to me. We finally chose 2x twin xlâs to make it easier to change out my choices, until I found something just right. This one is finally it!!) If you havent heard it beforeâ you can always make a firm mattress softer with less dense additional layering, but you cant really firm up a dipping too-soft mattress by adding anything that wont ultimately also sag, which exacerbates the problem.Openingâ was a bit worried, since it was the last Twin XL available at the time, that I might get a return. But, I dont believe that to be the case. It arrived vacuum sealed and immediately sprang to nearly all of the 9â I ordered when slicing through the encased wrap. The creases and corners did their thing to rebound overnite near a warm, sunny window. It was exactly the size I ordered- 9â, Twin XL.Another reason for choosing this companyâs mattress.âit was important to me to try to find a product made in the US, for several reasons.Bottom line: If you like to sleep on a very firm surface, THIS is a winner.

This bed is excellent. Bought the TWIN 9â. No surprises and exactly what you would want if purchasing a mattress for the first time on Amazon-without being able to feel it for yourself before buying. This is just the firm you would want-if you donât want a soft mushy mattress. I stay very cool lying on this mattress(using only cotton for mattress cover and sheets). Just the right height. I had a great sleep the first night-and continue to still. This is a mattress you will look forward to sleeping and chilling on every night. After I recieved it vacuum packaged and rolled up in box left by UPS, I let it unravel on top of my boxspring and settle for almost 24 hours before I laid on it, just to follow the instructions properly.Smells brand new, but no offensive odors or anything I like. I was excited to sleep on it. Beautiful mattress, and you can turn it clockwise or counterclockwise monthly to break in the foot & head end evenly if you want. Worth it, would buy again-and would direct anyone else I know to buy this one. Superior value for a really great price!!!

I freakinâ LOVE the this mattress. I had to return a mattress before this one- my body hurt all over after sleeping on that one. Yes, it â enveloped â my body cozilyâ¦.but I hurt all over in the morning. I donât sink into this one, but my body feels great in the morning. I do wish I had had more faith and gone with the nine inch, as the 12 inch is really too high for my daybed and looks funny. I fully believe the nine inch would have been adequate for my needs, even at 175 lbs.

Well I wanted a “FIRM” mattress and by god, that’s what I got. Didn’t sleep much the first night because of the constant tossing and turning due to the pressure points of my hips & shoulders. Strangely enough, after getting up I noticed less hip discomfort sitting and walking. I am on disability because of my hips. Maybe I’ll order a memory foam topper to soften those pressure points. Again, I ordered it because of the product reviews claims of truly being a firm mattress. Would have loved it in my younger days.

So glad we upgraded the flimsy mattress that came in our RV to this full size queen, not a short queen, mattress. It is fantastic! Itâs is very firm which is exactly what we wanted for my back issues. There wasnât any smell or heat retention in this mattress and we just got back from a week camping in 90+ degree weather.We really liked the fact that there wasnât any movement on either side when either one movesðððWould definitely recommend this upgrade to anyone thatâs looking.

I bought the 9′ full firm Rock Hard Mattress and it’s FANTASTIC. I can’t sleep on a soft bed, I’ve also tried dozens of mattresses over the decades and this is by far the least expensive but the best so far! Firm!!! No dips! Thank you!

Was shipped right away and in my case even arrived earlier than expected. The firmness is nice and my sleep has been greatly improved. Can’t say enough about how impressed I am with this for the price. I hope they continue to sell these wonderfully affordable mattresses. If your concerned about ordering one of these, don’t be it’s well worth it. Superior bang for your buck!
