This mattress topper does not look like the picture, BUT, it IS super soft and has made a huge difference for us. It is thinner than the picture, but it is made out of really good quality materials. I’m very picky. As I struggled to get out of my comfy bed this morning, I thought I might share my thoughts on this. It is covering a Nectar mattress, which we found lacking for soft comfort on top,despite it’s popularity. I scoured the internet looking for a good topper and with the combination of the price, the reviews, and getting it here fast, I went with this one. I WAS disappointed to see how ‘thin’ it was, but I was in a hurry to get my new bedroom finished so I kept it hoping for the best. The first night I definitely felt a difference. After a week I was glad I kept it. Now it is been a year and I still really love it. When I change the sheets, I fluff this pad back up by taking the corners and flipping them towards the middle. That is all. No hardships. I paired this with a set of memory foam pillows made with the cubes of memory foam instead of the solid piece, which we found too hard. I use the microfiber kind of sheets. I feel like these are really soft and let the softness of this mattress topper come through. It does retain a “cooing” sensation from the AC in the room, but don’t expect anything out there to have a cooling sensation as if you’re sleeping on top of an air conditioner because that’s just not going to happen. However, the “cooling” part of this is that you can move your leg around or your arm onto a nice cool section of softness and go right back to sleep. Overall, this mattress topper is a product I would recommend to family and friends.

Like sleeping on a thin down comforter…
I’ve enjoyed this bed topper, for the couple months I’ve had it. But, I’m relatively new to mattress toppers, and don’t have much of a basis for comparison, outside of an old egg-crate foam topper that I bought in the 90’s, but found to be too warm, subjectively. This topper is not as plush as they make it out to be, but it feels well made and feels nice and cool to the touch. I use 100% bamboo sheets, but feel confident that this topper would still sleep cool, if you didn’t use a sheet to cover it, which it really doesn’t need. It looks and feels nice, just as it is.The alt-down fill is very comfortable, and feather-like. It’s feels like you’re laying on a bed of thin down pillows or a thin down comforter. It doesn’t seem to clump or flatten over time like foam does, at least it hasn’t within the first couple months. But it’s not very firm either. Maybe that’s better for your back, as they claim. I don’t know… I’m an all sides sleeper, switching positions from back to side to the other side to my stomach throughout the night. While the padded portion measures about 3 inches to the peak of the pockets, it feels closer to a 1/2 inch when you’re actually laying in bed. The quilted pockets keep the fill in place though. So throughout your sleep, night after night, it feels the same, with no apparent flattening or shifting of the fill. And the fitted sides do a terrific job of keeping the topper in place even for someone who turns all night, like me.

Well worth the money!!!
I have scoliosis and I am very thin so I have no fat on these bones. We had a memory foam mattress pad on our bed. But during the night, when laying on my sides, the pain from my hip bones would wake me up. I would have to roll over (which wasn’t easy) and the same thing would happen on that side. I would also wake up in the mornings and back would be screaming.We bought the 3″ and left the memory foam on the bed and put the topper on top of it. The pockets are very deep and fits our king size bed perfect. It came packaged very well and had no odor at all. We took it out of the package, shook it real good and put it on the bed. It is very well made!! We have only slept on it for 2 nights but that has been the best sleep we have had in a long time. I did not wake up one time and my back was not hurting in the mornings. Even our dog slept better, and that’s no joke!!! It’s like sleeping on feathers but still has a firmness to it. I would recommend this topper to anyone, especially if you have back problems.

New Mattress â Until I Washed It.
If only washing didnât kill the fluff, this topper would be fantastic. Weâll get there, I promise (Go to âFAST FORWARDâ if you want to skip ahead).I own an adjustable hospital bed that has a rather hard mattress and no box spring (because itâs adjustable).Raising it helps alleviate pain (back injury), but the hardness creates pain elsewhere (everywhere else â LOL).Bought this topper off recommendations and it did make my bed is so comfy. I was so careful to follow instructions to the tee and let the mattress lay on my bed a few hours before retiring for the night.The pics are after my first night; you can see the fluff and make the comparison with my actual mattress.FAST FORWARD to wash day.Oh, my poor, once fluffy friend! Where have you gone? See the second two photos and you can see a marked difference.I donât know what to do now. I did buy this on sale, but still spent $60. I was careful to wash and dry as directed. I know Amazon wonât take it, and donât know about the manufacturer.The only thing I would do differently is maybe not tumble dry on low. I would perhaps let it dry in the sun. This is the only thing I can think of doing. Iâm so bummed right now. ð

This topper completely transformed my bed! I have a new medium firm mattress that I couldnât get comfortable on and it was suggested to get a COTTON topper. This one had good reviews and priced fairly so I gave it a shot. Absolute quality product, well constructed and changed the total dynamic of my bed. A must have.

It is listed as 100% content, but when you get it, only the top of the shell is cotton, and the rest is polyester. And the topper is so thin and cheap that it gives you very little cushion. A complete waste of money, especially how expensive it is. Do not buy this cheap polyester plastic garbage.

My matress was so hard it gave me back pain everyday. I am usually skeptic about things like mattress toppers but i thought i’s give this one a go and oh god i sleep so well now. It actually made my bed feel a whole lot better, i kind of feel like sleepingbin a marshmallow. If i had another mattress to go with this topper, it would be an actual cloud to sleep on. I put it in the dryer to fluff it up and afyer a few days it was nice and thick. Although i would want it to me just a little more thick, i think it is really good and does a great job. My bdoy hasn’t been this happy for a while. But beware! You might have troubke getting out of bed in the morning XD
