1″ foam mattress topper
Very comfortable! This is a 1″ thick foam mattress topper with fabric outer layer and elastic corner straps to hold it down. Based on the description I thought it was going to be more of a filled comfortor type thing, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that it’s like a standard bed mattress topper. I got this to use over my Exped air mattress and I find the addition of the mattress topper to be the softness that I need since I normally sleep on a very soft pillow top mattress at home. I ordered two and they were as expected. When I ordered a third it was defective so I traded it in and the replacement was fine.

I wouldn’t advise getting it wet, even if you have a good dryer.
I would give 4.5 stars if it was an option.I think it is good over all, be sure to unfold it and let it sit out for a while. I followed the directions and washed it and threw it in the dryer in order to properly refluff it, but I am currently on my 6th 60 minute drying cycle and it’s still damp in spots, that’s going on 6 hours of dryer time. .Also other reviews claim it’s only 1/16th of an inch thick and that’s not true, it was 2+ inches after unwrapped and letting it expand. And as of now the dry parts are easily around 2.5+inches.Obviously haven’t slept on it yet, but I’m looking forward to it,as it seems like it will be very comfortable. it will be used on a regular coleman camping cot .And yes my dryer works properly. It just stays wet because of the foam.

Ordered for a car camping trip to use on a top of a folding camp cot that is not comfortable.I slept on it on the cot last night (in my house) to give it a good judgement and it was super comfortable. I slept really well. It has elastic to hold it to the corners of the cot and it stayed in place perfectly.I did take it camping earlier but because it dropped into the low 30s and I didn’t have a good enough sleeping bag with me I felt that wasn’t a good use case. I ended up pulling it into the backseat of my car half folded up and slept on it that way, but it was *not* how it was intended to be used. BUT it held up fine to that particular abuse.For now at least I am very happy with it, will edit if that changes.

Due to shipping method they fold this thing in half then roll it and vacuum seal it making the padding compress and damaging the fluff. Don’t waste your time if you’re serious about quality. You will want to return this just like I’ll be doing so. Trash .. complete trash.
