This is a first. No plasticizer stench.
We have owner waterbeds since the 1970’s. We also have cats. So over the years we have bought many replacement bagsThis is the very first time I have bought one where the room did not stink of PVC plasticizer for weeks. The only explanation that comes to mind is that the product is US Made and we have laws and regulations that limit the use of old Phthalate plasticizers. So does Europe. But guess where all the other bags we had were made. This is a Health Issue. “The plasticizer market changed in response to the restriction of low molecular weight (LMW) phthalate plasticizers such as Di (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) due to their hazardous properties. “

Opaque Vinyl
Someone decided to use opaque vinyl in the construction of the mattress. Unfortunately that makes it much more difficult to purge air bubbles because they can’t be seen. Not impossible, just more difficult than necessary.
