Shrinks and doesnât fit
I purchased the organic cotton mattress cover as a replacement for a Remi playard that was open box and arrived without a sheet. Itâs soft and appears to be well constructed. But after washing and drying according to the instructions on the tag, it shrank enough that the Velcro fasteners on the bottom no longer attach to the spots on the underside of the mattress that are supposed to hold the sheet in place. This means that when baby rolls around in the playard, the sheet bunches up – possibly creating a sleep hazard.
