Very Thin, Not 3 inches
It was advertised to be thicker, 3inches is a stretch. Not great quality, but u guess for the price what do you expect. Get a more expensive futon mattress, maybe as a floor cushions for pets, but nothing else.

Nice floor mattress but not enough support for elderly person.
I tried this out during a hurricane. I am 66 years old and this mattress was so uncomfortable on the floor. I had to add extra blankets for padding and after 2 hours could not sleep any longer on it.Probably more suitable for younger person
